AHEAD of the April 11 House of Assembly election, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Ethiope East State constituency forthe Delta State House of Assembly, Arthur Akpowowo, has promised communities in Abraka and Agbon kingdoms of fair representation if voted into power.
Akpowowo, who gave the assurance during his campaign tour to Kokori, Egbo, Ovu communities of Agbon clan and Urhovie community, Oruarivie and Umiaghwa of Abraka kingdoms, said he had come to seek for their support and blessings over his ambition to represent them at the state House of Assembly.
He explained that he spent about eight years as the state youth leader of the party, where he built bridges of friendship across the state, assuring the people that with his contacts across the state, that he has the confidence that he would attract dividends of democracy to his people.
Akpowowo, who said he served the party diligently while he was the state youth leader, explained that he is familiar with the workings of the House as legal practitioner, promising package for the electorate if elected as member to represent Ethiope East.
