A High Chief, Solomon Odemero Agbagi Oariefe, has donated a checkpoint to the 19 Battalion of the Nigerian Army station at Koko, Delta State.

Oariefe built and donated the project on behalf of his firm, S.O. Solodems CO. Nig/Ghana.

He welcomed the giant stride of Agbagi and called on other well meaning Nigerians to follow suit Agbagi by partnering with security personnel in providing peaceful atmosphere for the general public.

Agbagi, in his speech, said he felt highly humbled to build a checkpoint for the Nigerian Army.

He added that “what is happening today started in 2010” when his company built a quarter guard post for the Nigeria Police Force, Sapele Division.

The post was commissioned by the then Commissioner of Police, Yakubu Alkali.

He added that in 2013, his company built a checkpoint for the 19 Battalion, Nigerian Army at Okirighwre and Jesse “and these were commissioned by Brig. Gen. Pat Akem”.

Agbagi said S.O. Solodems is doing this because it believes in protection of lives and properties of citizens in any part of the country.

He believes in the concept that security is every body’s business.

He, therefore, implored all well meaning Nigerians to contribute to assisting security agencies to do their work effectively.
