Chairman of a group, Ukwuani Political Network, Ifeanyi Okpodu, has called on Ukwuani and Ndokwa people in the Diaspora to vote massively for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the forthcoming elections to ensure victory.
Okpodu said this during a campaign rally of Ukwuani Political Network in Ukwuani Local Government Area.
He urged the Ukwuani and Ndokwa people to be united and not to be in opposition so that the dividend of democracy can come to Ukwuani land.
He observed that many people in the area were yet to collect their permanent voter cards PVC and enjoined them to go to their various wards and collect them because the card is their power in the election.
The convener of Ukwuani Political Network, Sam Oba, reiterated their support for Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, Chief Peter Nwaoboshi, Ossai N. Ossai and Dr. Ojo in the forthcoming polls.
Oba advised the people of Ukwuani not to sell their votes, saying that they should take their destiny in their hands to move Ukwuani forward by voting for PDP.
Speaking during the rally, the women leader of the group, Madam Flora Dafe, urged the women leaders in l the wards visited to mobilise women to vote for PDP to enable them actualise their dreams and make Ukwuani a better place.
In their separate remarks, the women said they were for Okowa because they believe that with Okowa, there is prosperity for all Deltans.
