Ahead of the governorship election scheduled to hold April 11 across the country, the Labour Party governorship candidate in Delta State, Chief Great Ogboru, has said he is the authentic Ndokwa and Anioma candidate to succeed Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan in next month’s election.

Ogboru stated this during a reception organised for him and his running mate, Elder Peter Erebi, by the Ndokwa Neku Union (NNU), the umbrella body of Ndokwa nation, at Afor in Ndokwa East Local government Area of the state.

He noted the fact that his mother hails from Ukwani made him a son of Ndokwa, who should be able to represent them as governor of Delta State, adding that he will develop Ndokwa, Anioma and the entire state if elected.

Earlier, Chief Paul Sagay Enebeli, president general of Ndokwa Neku Union, thank Ogboru for honouring their invitation and promised that they will support him in his governorship ambition because Ogboru’s mother is their daughter and the entire Ndokwa people will throw their weight behind him during the governorship election.

The event held at the country home of Enebeli and had several Ndokwa traditional political and opinion leaders in attendance.
