Commissioner representing Ethiope West, Sapele, Okpe, Uvwie and Urhobo ethnic nationality of Warri South Local Government Areas, Henry Ofa, on the board of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC), has appealed to the people in his mandate areas to vote to all Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidates in the forthcoming elections.
The commissioner, who went round projects site across his mandate areas, said the only way the people could reciprocate the good gesture of the Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan-led administration was for them to vote for the PDP at all levels so that they will continue to enjoy the dividends of democracy. Ofa, who expressed satisfaction after inspecting rehabilitated hospital quarters at Orerokpe, landscaping at Aragba Health Centre, three classroom blocks at Okuloho, construction of DESOPADEC zonal and area offices at Orerokpe, rehabilitated Health Centre at Orerokpe, construction of six classroom blocks at Oha Primary School, transformer at Osubi, phase 1 of Dan Obodo Street, commended the governor for funding the projects.
He said without the governor giving the approval to DESOPADEC and releasing funds, the commission could not have been able to do anything on its own.
