Esan Youth Association (EYA) has condemned what it tagged the “devilish plan of the Oshiomhole administration to defraud the over-taxed, harassed and conquered people of Edo State”.

The association was reacting to the alleged move to relocate the Ambrose Alli Teaching Hospital.

The association asserted that it found that N3 billion has already been put into the Edo State 2015 budget to build a ‘teaching hospital which site up till now has not been disclosed.”

It condemned what it considered the ‘devilish and a calculated attempt by the Oshiomhole administration to defraud the overtaxed, harassed and conquered people of the state of the N3 billion for a project, which the people are unaware of.’

EYA stated that the Edo State government led by Comrade Adams Oshiomhole should be bold enough to state that it is indeed actualizing its dream of moving the Ambrose Alli University College of Medicine/ Teaching Hospital from its site in Ekpoma to his home village, Iyamho.

The association vowed to join other groups to frustrate the move while appealing to people of goodwill to call Oshiomhole to order so as not ‘to further aggravate the fragile peace that exists in the state due to his divide and rule politics.’
