Rev. Franklin Iheme of African Episcopal Methodist Zion Church (AEMZC) has urged Nigerians to unite and always show love to one another for a peaceful and prosperous Nigeria.

He gave the advice in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Port Harcourt.

Iheme, who spoke against the backdrop of the insurgency problem ravaging the North East, said that with love and understanding, every evil was surmountable.

The cleric condemned the killings and spate of bomb blasts in the North East, stressing that “love and understanding can heal wounds and transform the nation into an enviable position.

“Our problem to a larger extent is not the leadership but us, if we can love ourselves, violence will be a thing of the past.

“What we require to put an end to this madness of hatred and bloodletting is to embrace love and see ourselves as sisters and brothers.’’

He wondered how a blessed country like Nigeria could not forge ahead with one love, adding that love was the panacea to all kinds of violence.
