As part of its contribution to nation building, Christ Embassy says it is going to distribute well over 26 million copies of devotional materials christened Rhapsody of Realities to Nigerians.
This is coming under the Reach Out Nigeria campaign to commemorate the 54th independence anniversary of the country.
Warri Zone Director of the church, Pastor Siji Dara, made the disclosure while interacting with the press during the independence anniversary musical concert organized by the church in Warri, which featured arrays of gospel artists.
Besides, prayers for the peace and stability of the country were offered by the worshippers even as Pastor Dara reminded Christians on their responsibility to carry the gospel to every nook and cranny and quoted from the Scripture to drive home his message.
According to him, God will demand accountability from every believer and advised them to always ‘‘walk in our callings’’.
While prophesying a bright future for Nigeria, he implored the citizens not to lose faith in the country and urged them to reawaken the spirit of patriotism to build an egalitarian society.
Dara disclosed that the Warri zone has embarked on several projects aimed at giving succour to the people, and listed some of the projects to include, renovation of computer centre and library at Okere prison, provision of 500 mattresses to inmates, a utility Hilux van for the medical unit of the prison, sets of computers and a generating set, among others.
