The General Overseer of Deliverance Healing Miracle Church of God Worldwide, Senior Apostle A. Omorodion, has warned men of God to desist from lying or face the wrath of God.
The general overseer in a message to men of God, said that the warning was a revelation from the Holy Spiri , saying that destruction will come upon such ministers who bring God’s name to disrepute.
He said some will sleep and wake no more and some will die by the road side because they have turned the word of God to suit their purpose to amass wealth, thereby leading the people astray.
He further stated that some will be destroyed by sudden attack, and there shall be earthquake in some places as a result of disobedience to the will of God.
He affirmed that “the sermon these men of God preach is to enrich themselves thereby, making them famous in iniquity and bringing reproach to God’s name.” He then referred to 2 Peter 2:1 which says, “But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction”.
