The Commissioner representing Ughelli North and Ethiope East areas on the board of DESOPADEC, Chief Ominimini Obuovwevbi, has commended Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan on his numerous achievements so far in his administration.
Ominimini said this while celebrating the 23rd anniversary of Delta State creation with some politicians in his house at Ughelli. In an interview with our correspondent, Chief Ominimini noted that Governor Uduaghan has done well in every sector especially in bringing peace and stability in the state, recalling that before Uduaghan took over the mantle of leadership, the state, was in disarray as almost every community was in crisis. He added that Uduaghan’s administration brought relative peace throughout the state. In the area of employment and empowerment, Ominimini emphasised that through the Delta State Micro-credit programme, many people have grown into big businessmen and women as thousands of them have been taken away from the streets and now gainfully self-employed thereby, providing for themselves and their family.
