A House of Representative aspirant for Ughelli North/Ughelli South/Udu Federal Constituency, Ufuoma Eshareturi, has vowed to initiate legislations that would further promote agricultural development and job creation for the unemployed if given the chance to represent his constituency at the National Assembly in 2015.

Speaking during a consultation visit to leaders of Ughelli North Ward 3/7 of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to declare his intention to run for the seat under the party’s platform, Eshareturi also promised technology transfer, training and engagement of youths, facilitation of free medical aids and provision of educational aids to his constituents.

He pointed out that there had never been infrastructural audit to ascertain the percentage of development in the constituency, adding that without such report, it would be difficult to measure the level of growth in the area.

The aspirant maintained that although there were many problems facing the constituency, which could have been resolved through effective representations, it was high time they stopped looking at the problems and selfish interest and focus on solutions to the many problems and promote public interest above selfish interest.

He added that he would remit his basic salary to the constituency to facilitate emergency requirement in areas of health aids and educational aids, saying he was out to do a voluntary service to his constituents.
