Indigenes of Oghara community in Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta State, especially students in different secondary schools in the area, have commended Henry Ofa, the Commissioner representing Ethiope West, Sapele and Okpe local government areas on the board of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC) for his spirit of benevolence that has transformed them educationally.
One of the beneficiaries of the Ogheneochuko Ofa Foundation/ DESOPADEC, who spoke with journalists at the Ibori Primary School, Ogharefe, venue of Ofa foundation/ DESOPADEC extra moral classes, Temishare Oghenevwede, while appraising DESOPADEC and Ofa for initiating extra moral classes for all students in Oghara, said the laudable gesture of the Commissioner will go a long way in completely transforming all young children of school age in Oghara. He said the extra moral classes created by the commissioner have added more knowledge to them, which has gone a long way in developing their career.
Temishare charged other students like himself to take good advantage of the programme by attending classes promptly and avoid vices that are inimical to their educational pursuit and engage themselves very seriously in the programme, which is aimed at complementing their regular school programmes that are not enough for them, so that in no distant time, they would be better and well placed citizens of this country.
