The first Akwa Ibom Housing and Building Materials Exhibition tagged, “AKWABUILD” is underway from March 20 to 22, 2014, at Ibom Hall Grounds, Uyo, the state capital.
Organized by Highpoint Global Realty Limited, owners and developer of Highpoint Luxury Estate, Uyo and Abuja, the exhibition is in collaboration with Akwa Ibom State Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Uyo Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (UYOCCIMA), will be declared open by the state Governor, Chief Godswill Akpabio, with a keynote address titled, “Housing for All by the Year 20-20: The Journey so Far in Akwa Ibom State”. A statement by the Managing Director, Highpoint Global Realty Limited, Mrs. Imaobong A. Usoroh, disclosed the theme of the exhibition as: “Housing Resources and Materials for Sustainable Housing Development in Nigeria”.
