MDGs chief tasks workers on hardwork

Executive Director/Focal person of Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), Edo State, Princess Theresa Erediauwa, has charged public servants in the state to be hardworking, diligent and dedicated to service to ensure sustainable development.

She gave the charge at a send-forth party organized in Benin City for John Uwota who retired from the state civil service as permanent secretary. Uwota, until his retirement in December 20, 2013, was attached to the MDG’s office.

Erediauwa advised public servants to imbibe the virtues of hard work, commitment selfless service and diligence as exemplified by Uwota while in active service to promote the transformation agenda of the state government.

While congratulating Uwota on his successful retirement, the MDG’s boss noted with satisfaction, his exemplary services, saying, “He was a competent man who was very so committed to service”.

Responding, Uwota who until the retirement was MDG’s project co-ordinator appreciated Princess Erediauwa for the honour done him with the sendforth party, describing her as “an excellent boss.”
