Chief Ighoyota Amori, who also spoke at the gathering, said he has lived his entire life in ward 4 where he had his elementary, secondary and university education, and even knew his wife there, hence his involvement in the politics of Sapele.
He remarked that his happiest moment was the return of their illustrious son, Hon. Omizu Ejaife Odebala back to the party. He recalledd their early days when they founded the party and soon after, they invited Ejaife to join them at the Sapele-Okpe hall where they discovered his potentials and that as an intelligent young man, they promoted him to become the House of
Assembly member then, as an unassuming young man.
Chief Amori described the relationship between him and Odebala as very cordial and symbiotic with them working for each other’s success and progress over the years.
Hon Odabala in his declaration speech of coming back to the party, appealed to the members to accept him back whole heartedly to the PDP fold, adding that his coming back is from the bottom of his heart, and promised to do more for the party and the people of Sapele local government area. Describing the future of PDP as a very bright one, PDP being the only party in the country that will continue to deliver the dividends of democracy to the people, he assured that he would work closely with Chief Igbuya to make sure PDP always wins all the elections in the area.
Dignitaries at the ward 4 PDP ceremony where Odebala was received back to the party included Deacon Rowland Okoro, PDP ward4 chairman Sapele, Mr Solomom Golley, Ethiope west PDP chairmanship aspirant, Hon Odebala, Chief Ighoyota Amori, Hon Christian Onogba commissioner BRACE Commission. Others were Chief Awhikpe, Mrs. Lizzy Magini from Oghara, Dr David O. Oghenekevwe PDP chairman Sapele local government area, Chief M.O. Igbuya and Hon. Jude Fregene from Jesse amongst others.
High point of the event was the handing over of Chief Omizu Odebala to the ward 4 PDP chairman Sapele by Hon David
Oghenekevwe, Sapele local government area chairman who was jointly received by Hon Igbuya as the entire ward 4 people joyfully received Ejaife Odabala to their fold in a colourful ceremony.
