THE people of Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom of Delta state on Thursday urged Governor Ifeanyi Okowa to create an enabling environment for all political appointees to operate in order for them to contribute meaningfully in the administration.
Speaking through the aegis of Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Urban Youth Forum in a statement signed by Godspower Bouyi and Richard Koremene, Chairman and Publicity Secretary respectively, the youths also commended the Governor Okowa for appointing Barr Eric Omare, as a Special Assistant on Youth and Community Development.
They appealed to all Delta youths to be law abiding and corporate with the governor’s aides by creating a conducive environment devoid of criminality, acrimony, hooliganism and unrests for government to succeed in delivering its programmes on youth empowerment and development.
The statement read in part; “We the members of the above forum heartily express our infallible gratitude to His Excellency, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa the Executive Governor, Delta State for the appointment of one of our own, brother and friend Barrister Eric Omare as your Special Assistant on Youth and Community Development. We wish to state that the appointment is a demonstration of concern, depiction of love and kindness to the people of Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom particularly the members of our group.
