Founder of Gospel Defender Ministries International Inc. Ikpoba Hill, Benin City, Edo State, Bishop Prophet Fred Aghedo, has said that the Nigerian military is not being sincere with President Goodluck Jonathan for now.
Bishop Aghedo said that the shift in the dates for the general election has gives time to the candidates to go to the grassroots to campaign and sell their manifestoes and programmes to the electorate.
He averred that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will continue to occupy the Presidential Villa, adding that President Jonathan has done well for the nation in area of infrastructure and facilities.
He appealed to Nigerians to stop criticising the office of the President because “the office you don’t belong, you will not know what is happening there. Dr. Jonathan is very sincere, humble, loyal and transparent. He is trying his best.”
The prophet charged the electorate to vote wisely, think twice as any mistake they make now might go against them in the future, stressing that the candidates should play the game according to the rules and shun politics of bitterness and rancour.
He God lauded Governor Adams Oshiomhole’s effort at transforming the state capital, Benin, from an ancient town to a modern one.
