In line with the teaching of Jesus Christ that man should show love to others, the General Overseer of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry, Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, has donated N2 million cash to the victims of the inferno that engulfed Warri Navy Mammy Market last week.
Addressing the traders during an on the spot assessment of the damage and to commiserate with the victims, Fufeyin said he embarked on the trip to condole with all those who lost property to the fire incident and encourage them not to lose hope but to remain steadfast in God.
The prophet said that, “At a time like this, it is easy for the devil to tempt someone with all sort of temptations but keeping hope in God is the surest way to overcoming whatever pain associated with this kind of loss”, he said.
He, however, thanked God for sparing the live of the traders and promised to do more for the people in conjunction with Mercy TV partners and urged the people to use the money judiciously.
In his response on behalf of the traders’ union, Comrade Sunday Ezewu, expressed joy, as he conveyed the appreciation of the fire victims to Fufeyin and Mercy TV partners for coming to their rescue, adding that the visit of the man of God would mark the end of calamities in their lives.
The traders’ leaders said they were shocked by the magnanimity of the prophet.
Ezewu said God used has the general overseer of Mercyland to set mankind free and prayed to God to increase his anointing.
Speaking in the same vein, the matron of the market, Madam Tozo Akpobor, said words could not describe what the prophet did and that only God could reward him.
However, chairlady of the traders’ union, Mrs. Christiana Obodo, thanked God for the life of the Prophet and Mercy TV partners.
Highlight of the occasion was the handing over of the N2 million cash by Futeyin to Ezewu.
