Author of the Christian, ‘Our Daily Manna’, Bishop Chris Kwakpovwe, has described the developmental strides of Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan of Delta State as phenomenal.

The cleric said this when the Governor went to commiserate with him on the death of his father, Stephen Kwakpovwe, at Ughelli in the Ughelli North Local Government area of the state.

“You (Dr Uduaghan) are one of the most hardworking Governors in Nigeria,” Kwakpovwe said, adding: “We are proud of your achievements, the development in Delta State is obvious even to your critics.”

Kwakpovwe, whose father died at the age of 90 years, also described Uduaghan as a humble man who should be emulated by other Nigerian leaders.

He urged those working with the Governor to always be loyal and committed to their job.

Uduaghan, accompanied by members of his Executive Council, had commiserated with Kwakpovwe on the demise of his father whose death, he said, deserved to be celebrated for living till 90 years and having the Bishop as son. The Governor commended the Bishop for “impacting positively on the lives of the people”.

He noted that Delta State is a great beneficiary of the programmes and prayers of the cleric.
