An aspirant to the House of Representatives on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State, Lovette Idisi, has assured the people of Ethiope Federal Constituency of government presence if given the opportunity to represent the area.
Idisi, who spoke to newsmen at Kokori, Ethiope East Local Government area of the state on a private visit to one of the political stalwarts, said good representation goes with government presence, assuring the people of constituency projects due to the area if elected.
Idisi explained that his intention to go to the House was to serve the people, promising that he would always operate an open door policy where he would be meeting with his constituents from time to time to discuss issue affecting the area.
While calling for total support of Ethiope Federal Constituency for his ambition, Idisi noted that he has empowered people in his private capacity, and promised to do more.
He also pledged to attract development to the area if he was given the chance to serve at the National Assembly.
Assuring the people of his commitment to serve, ldisi said his representation will give room for constructive criticism at all times to redirect and correct those things that were not well handled in the past.
He said the leaders of the party must meet quarterly to discuss and affirm decisions when necessary.
