Otegbene community lauds Christ Embassy for water project

The people  of Otegbene community in Warri South West council of Delta State have applauded the leadership of Christ Embassy, Warri zone, for providing them with a solar powered water project.

The community rolled out the drum at the commissioning of the project by Pastor Irikefe Ofuma and Pastor Benjamin Olele, accompanied by other members of the project team.

Chairman Otegbene community, Boro Danpolo,  while expressing gratitude to the church for the gesture, disclosed that people from the coastal community  had been drinking from the sea before now.The sea water, he decried made them sick , expressing joy that the church has put smiles on their faces by providing them with potable water.‘’I want to thank Christ Embassy for providing us with this project. Normally, we drink water from the river and because of the bad water, we fall sick easily. When the team came, they noticed that the water we were drinking was bad and decided to provide us with this water. So, we thank them for this gesture’’, he said. Corroborating him, a community leader, Borikiri Jonathan, said: ‘’everybody in this community is happy for the project because we now have good drinking water. We are so happy as the church has remembered the community to do this project’’. In his speech, Pastor Ofuma, said the church was out to impact lives apart from the gospel, by providing infrastructure to the communities.
