The Chief Imam of Warri Central Mosque, Alhaji Abdul Rasheed Ajisafe, has explained that true Muslims are not members of the terrorist sect, Boko Haram, saying that Islamic teaching in the Holy Koran, just like the Christians in the Holy Bible is based on love and peaceful co-existence.

Ajisafe gave the explanation during the commissioning of Ekakpamre Central Mosque in Ekakpamre, Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State.

He said that just as Christians  believe in Jesus Christ so do Muslims believe in the teachings of the prophet Mohammed, adding that both religions believe in God as the supreme creator who punished unrepentant sinners.

Commending Alhaji Mohammed Young Okotie who built and donated the Mosque to Muslims, the Chief Imam thanked Ekakpamre community for providing land where the Mosque was built, praying for their peace and breakthrough.

He also promised that Senior Imams from across the country will soon come to pray for Ekakpamre community.
