A group, Kukuruku Youth Renaissance Network, has alerted the public over the death of its member, Mr. Daniel Aifegha, who was allegedly shot dead at close range by some

They alleged that Aifegha was shot in his country home residence at Eme-Ora with the group calling on the Nigeria Police to fully investigate the gruesome murder said to have been linked to his stance on the current crisis in the Edo State House of Assembly.

In a statement the youth network, where its slain member served as Owan West coordinator, alleged that the deceased before he was killed had confrontation with a political leader in the council on the Edo Assembly crisis.

President of the Network, Theophilus Ibodeme, and Secretary General, Anthony Igiebor, in their statements, alleged that the deceased was threatened before the shooting incident that claimed his life.

The group who said their late colleague was threatened even on his Facebook page before his gruesome murder, called for full investigation into the killing of Daniel Aifegha with a view to bringing the perpetrators of the dastardly act to justice.

“We implore the Nigerian Police and other security agencies in the state to make use of available facts as evidence, like Daniel’s phone call logs, messages and his interaction on his facebook account, his conversation with those who were with him before he gave up the ghost to simplify investigation processes,” Kukuruku Youth Renaissance Network statement said.
