A delegation from the Edo State branch of the Nigerian Red Cross Society has visited the family of its late patron, Stephen Ehiemua, popularly known as Mousco in Ekpoma, Esan West Local Government Area of Edo State.
The late business mogul-oil magnate, school proprietor and politician, died on July 2, 2014 at the age of 78.
The Edo State Red Cross branch Chairman, Mr. Moses Obaze, who was represented by the Esan West Local Government Divisional Chairman, Mr. Mike Odiahi, in his condolence speech, described the late Ehiemua as a man of peace, wisdom and an embodiment of humility.
He said the Red Cross was one of the lots of beneficiaries of the late Ehiemua’s generosity, recalling how the deceased, last year approved his school as hosting venue for the 2013 Annual First Aid Training Camping of Red Cross, in addition to donating a cow to the society for refreshment.
“He (late Ehiemua) was a man we can rightly compare with Sir Jean Henry Dunnuat, the founder of Red Cross World wide.
